What: The Warrior Village Project, San Diego County Office of Education, and WorkforceConnect are sponsoring the inaugural Tiny Houses Build Day, at host Associated General Contractors Apprenticeship & Training facility.
Students from five San Diego County high schools – San Marcos, San Pasqual (Escondido), Rancho Buena Vista (Vista), Poway, and La Jolla – will work with industry professionals to construct six moveable tiny houses.

Speaker Sessions: A panel of speakers will describe how high schools can start their own home building programs, as well as the significant benefits for the community to provide affordable, permanent housing solutions to homeless, veterans, and underserved communities.
